It’s not the power of one we’re asking
it’s not the answer to all our doubts
We don’t believe in a world of violence
We don’t believe in world of law

And there are people who bribe their bosses
and people who pray
they say it’s heading towards disaster
but frankly: who cares?

We would be black in a range of colours
We would be coal in a land of mines
We would be red if we fought for freedom
We would be victims in times of war

and there are people who die and suffer
with laughters around
and while we’re watching their world collapsing
we just say: who cares?

Sir, I’m just here to write down your statements
and all the things you complain about
I’m just your ready-to-hear hairdresser
I’m gonna nod, anything you say

But if you finally listen carefully
we’ll be the ones you just trust at all
So your sickness will be in remission
When evil suddenly takes its toll

I got a girl when I was younger
her green eyes would shine
I don’t remember the day I left her
but since then I cry

Sir, I’m still here to write down your statements
and all the things you complain about
I’m just your personal trust improver
You just say something, I’ll just comply
